Dogs don't like to give out their private cell numbers to certain other dogs.
This is why these dogs want 2nd txt.
Even dogs have learned to hit reload for better VOIP
Dilly and her dog friends and her younger brother Ramsay the Cockapoo Packetjam.com was set up in 1999 as a “dog blog” test. (a liberal use of the term “blog”). It is an early example of user generated content.
Packet jam: The history: The packetjam name was an alternate to datajam. Both web domains registered in 1998 were intended as speed test sites. Generate web traffic from consumers unhappy with their connection speeds. Speed connection tests are still needed especially with the new federal definition of broadband 768/down and 220 up.
Increased consumer interest in VOIP, and the jitters caused by packet jams may mean it it is time to change Packetjam.com back to a speed test site for real packet jams?
PACKET, PACKET JAM : When you retrieve a document via the WWW, the document is sent in "packets" which fit in between other messages on the telecommunications lines, and then are reassembled when they arrive at your end. This occurs using TCP/IP protocol. The packets may be sent via different paths on the networks which carry the Internet. If any of these packets gets delayed, your document cannot be reassembled and displayed. This is called a "packet jam." You can often resolve packet jams by pressing STOP then RELOAD. RELOAD requests a fresh copy of the document, and it is likely to be sent without jamming.
Will the dogs actually blog? (eat the dog food?) As a blog site for dogs, packetjam was a “miserable failure” in getting any web visitors to post dog comments, comments from other dogs. Web visitors who wanted to leave a message; (post a comment) were asked to fill in the "name" box not with their real (human) name but with their dog’s name. The incentive to use the dog’s name was: “Dilly likes to get messages from other dogs.”. There also were security concerns about kids posting or the identification of kids on web sites. Comments also required approval before they were posted under the link "20 most recent guest comments" on the main page.

Dilly has a new site http://ictc.com and the Green Data Center test page
Most dogs think a data center that could run on wind power is a good idea but only if the total electricity cost is below regular old coal powered dirty electricity.
